This work is known only from a blackand-white photograph taken around
1973 (unnumbered studio inventory
photograph). There are two studio
cards for this work; one identifies it as
I.H. Series No. 25, the other as I.H.
Series No. 30. We do not know whether
this work still exists in the form illustrated here.

The descriptive titles assigned to this
and other Basque Suite paintings on
paper (see w332–w335) were most
likely given at a later date. This work
was used as the basis for a 1971 screen
print, The Basque Suite: Untitled
(Engberg and Banach 2003, no. 86).
