with Figuration, with Black and Orange
(w96); the verso inscription clearly

This work is known only from an early
black-and-white photograph (Juley
photo no. 110; j0004902). We are not
certain about the medium, but the
paint appears to be oil, based on the
flow of the long vertical dripping forms.
We do not know whether this work still
exists in the form illustrated here.
