the series, Two Figures No. 10 (w39),
both appear in a photograph of his solo
exhibition at Bennington College in
1959 (see fig. 211 in volume 1). But in
the Bennington catalogue there is only
a single entry for an unnumbered Two
Figures work (cat. no. 29), which is
erroneously dated 1959.
