This collage includes fragments from
the prints Yellow Flight, 1986, and
Sirens II, 1988 (Engberg and Banach

2003, nos. 367 and 444). An early version of the collage contained a sheet
music fragment, which was subsequently painted over with black (as per
a studio photograph where it is visible).
This work was untitled when the catalogue for the April 1989 Knoedler &
Company exhibition was printed, but
gallery checklists reveal that it had been
given the title Night Dream by the time
the show opened.
