prints La Casa de la Mancha, 1984,
and Wanderers, 1985 (Engberg and
Banach 2003, nos. 349 and 364). It was
shown in an early state at Knoedler &
Company in April 1988. Motherwell
added the painted black brush marks
after it was returned to him that May.
