part of the wrapper from a package
sent to Motherwell, via the Tibor de
Nagy Gallery, by H. Danielsen Eftf.
Antikvitetshandel, an antique shop in
Copenhagen. Tibor de Nagy (1908–
1993) was a Hungarian-born American
art dealer who had galleries in New
York and Houston. Motherwell had a
solo show at the Houston gallery in
1974, where this collage was first
shown.
